TNT is sharing a sneak peak trailer of the reincarnated program, Dallas, a favorite of so many when it ran on CBS in the 1980's. The new show will feature
some old cast members, including the iconic Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing and Patrick Duffy as his brother, Bobby.
TNT began production last week on the show's first season which returns to Southfork Ranch next summer.
In the new version, Hagman returns as J.R. whose plots and schemes over the years have threatened to destroy his entire family. Josh Henderson (Desperate Housewives) stars as John Ross, the son of J.R. and Sue Ellen, who is determined to undermine his grandmother’s (Miss Ellie) legacy by drilling for oil on Ewing land.
Shot on location in the title city, Dallas is being produced by Warner Horizon Television, with pilot writer Cynthia Cidre and Michael M. Robin serving as executive producers. The original series was created by David Jacobs.
