In the next episode airing
Tuesday, Aug. 28 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), the Top Four home cooks
will split into two teams and prepare a three-course meal for
judges Gordon Ramsay, Joe Bastianich and Graham Elliot and three
world-renowned, Michelin-starred chefs: Daniel Boulud,
Alain Ducasse and Guy Savoy.
The following week, in Part One of the two-part season finale airing
Tuesday, Sept. 4 , the top three will compete head-to-head in the last
mystery box challenge, but only two home cooks will advance to the final
showdown.
On the final showdown
airing Monday, Sept. 10 , one cook will be named MASTERCHEF. The prize is a book deal and $250,000.
