“Emily Owens, M.D.” is the new medical drama
from the producer of “Gilmore Girls”, featuring Mamie Gummer, who happens to be
Meryl Streep's daughter. The show
revolves around Mamie’s character, Emily Owens, who, after a tumultuous high
school life, is looking for a fresh start as an intern at Denver Memorial
Hospital.
Unfortunately, she quickly learns that the hospital is all too much like high school - cliques, crushes, and competition are still in full-force.
