NBC News was
the most-watched broadcast or cable television network for coverage of
the 2013 Presidential Inauguration.
According to Nielsen Media
Research, the 10am - 4:30pm ET broadcast anchored by Brian Williams drew
an average of 5.081 million viewers and 1.652 million viewers aged
25-54. NBC had 38% more viewers (+1,410,000) than
CBS’s 3.671 million and 30% more (+1,159,000) than ABC’s 3.922 million
(10am - 4:35pm ET).
ABC's coverage was anchored by Diane Sawyer and George Stephanopoulos. At CBS, Scott Pelley was the anchor.
