Dave Price Out at Good Day New York

There hasn't been a real explanation, but Dave Price, the short-lived co-anchor of Good Day New York on Fox 5 TV is off the show.  He'll be replaced by his immediate predecessor Greg Kelly.  The show is also hosted by Rosanna Scotto.

This begins tomorrow morning; Price's last day was today.

Price returned to the station after a long stint at CBS on its early show as meteorologist.  It's reported that the split with Fox 5 was amicable.

Kelly cohosted "Good Day New York" with Scotto from 2008 to last June, when he moved to evenings.

Steve Lacy, who has been doing the 4:30-7 a.m. shift, will take over as solo anchor of the 6 p.m. newscast.  He'll co-anchor the 10 p.m. broadcast with Dari Alexander.

Antwan Lewis will be take over the 4:30-7 a.m. show on an interim basis.

  1. I love Greg Kelly with Rosanna and didn't like Dave Price with her, but what a bum deal to just have him disappear like that. He deserved to be treated better. Sad.
