For those following the race to see who will replace Regis Philbin as Kelly Ripa's co-host on Live!, here's a little news.NFL broadcaster Michael Strahan has been invited back to host three programs during the week of May 7th. He'll be on May 7, 8 and 9th.
Thursday and Friday of that week will feature Nick Lachey beside Ripa.
Prominent guests for the week are: Cameron Diaz, Stephen Colbert (his first Live! appearance), Felicity Huffman and Ginnifer Goodwin.
Other potential permanent co-hosts are Ripa's husband, Mark Consuelos, Pat Kiernan of New York 1 News in New York and Carson Kressley. Neil Patrick Harris is also said to be in the running, and would probably be a dream candidate, but it seems his star may be bigger than this show.
