The Choice is The Worst: New on Fox

I just gave a half hour of my time to check out The Choice, the new "celebrity" dating show on Fox.

It is truly the prime time version of Maury Povich and has not one redeeming quality.

In the first episode four pseudo-celebs (I only recognize Pauly D from Jersey Shore) sit in rotating chairs listening to the voices of women in skimpy outfits and 10-inch heels who have 30-seconds to woo them.  They turn their chairs around when they want to vie for one of the women.

The woman can then choose one of the men she wants to meet.   When all the women are done, they have more competition to see who ends up with whom.

I'd like to be able to report on the rest of the rules, but I'm not sticking around to see the rest of the show.  It's that bad and, in order to maintain some semblance of decency, I don't want to have to admit to anyone that I actually watched this trash in its entirety.

And, we all thought The Bachelor was bad!

  1. I actually like "The Choice" and how are not going to know who Jeremy Bloom is? This guy is a three-time World Champion, two-time Olympian and eleven-time World Cup gold medalist in freestyle moguls skiing and that’s just the half of it! I love my new Hopper because it automatically records this show for me in HD! A Dish co-worker told me that the Hoppers “PrimeTime Anytime” feature automatically records all my prime time shows that come on CBS, NBC, FOX and ABC everyday! You can even skip your “PrimeTime Anytime” commercials when you view your program the next day.
