ABC & Yahoo! News to Launch Live, Online Interviews with Candidates

George Stephanopoulos will interview Mitt Romney in a
new live, online Yahoo/ABC interview series.
ABC News and Yahoo! News  announced today that they will air a day of live, online-first interviews with each of the leading Republican Presidential candidates from the campaign trail tomorrow, November 8th.

The interviews will be conducted by ABC anchors and correspondents who, according to the two outlets, "will bring viewers a big-picture understanding of where the candidates stand on the key issues so that every voter can make the most informed personal choice at the ballot box."

Part of what they're calling the "Newsmakers" series, the interviews will be live-streamed on ABCNews.com and Yahoo.com.

Portions of the interviews will also air on ABC News broadcasts and platforms, including "World News with Diane Sawyer," "Good Morning America," "Nightline," "This Week with Christiane Amanpour" and on ABC News Radio.

ABC NewsOne, the network's affiliate news service, will make portions of the interviews available to ABC stations and affiliates across the country. Questions have been solicited from viewers during this past week in an attempt to address what voters consider to be the key issues of the day.

Here's the line-up:

George Stephanopoulos to interview Mitt Romney in Chicago, Illinois
Jonathan Karl to interview Herman Cain in Scottsdale, Arizona
Christiane Amanpour to interview Rick Perry in Austin, Texas
