Jennie Garth to Star in New ABC Sitcom

Jennie Garth who had life after Beverly Hills 90210 in the 1990's with the WB show, What I Like About You (with Amanda Bynes, 2002-06), has been cast as the lead in the ABC Family comedy pilot, Village People. 

From executive producer Meg DeLoatch (Brothers, One on One), Garth will play Alexa, a single, high-powered career woman who adopts a baby from a teen mother who also ends up under her care.
