The Chew Ratings: Week Seven

For our All My Children fans, according to ABC its replacement, The Chew, posted its 5th consecutive week of growth to hit a series high in Total Viewers (2.248 million) for the 3rd straight week.

But, the growth has been very modest.  During its first week in late September, the show drew 2.10 million viewers.  The numbers decreased somewhat, and now they’re just over their original level.

In the daytime network ratings race, CBS is number one with 3.4 million average viewers overall.  Next is ABC at 2.71 million.  NBC trails with 2.29 million.  The strength of CBS is based on its popular soap, The Young and the Restless, which is the top-rated daytime show on broadcast television.

  2. I refuse to give this show any of my time or ratings they canceled my soaps for another talk show - please we don't need another talk show. I just read that "AMC" and "OTL" have not been picked up by the internet because they could not get the funding. I extremely disappointed. I feel lost with out my "AMC" and soon "OTL"

  3. I never watched daytime TV, because I am at work, but since The Chew has been on we record it and my husband and I watch it after supper. Sometimes supper is something that was on The Chew. Not only does it have great recipes the cast is very funny and informative. Give the show a chance.

  7. Although i wasn't all that crazy about All My Children I would still find myself watching from time to time to make the afternoon go by faster and it beet kid shows now i find my self having to watch kids shows all day cause the chew just dose not do it for us with One Life To live going off the air our afternoons are going to be long even our bird takes a nap now! I have not a clue what we will do after OLTL goes bye bye And if GH goes I see myself paying to upgrading our cable. I love HGTV so I could definably watch that for most the day I Just hope Gh doesn't go any time soon! This winter has started to be days that drag from boredom
