ABC continues to do poorly in the daytime ratings race, except for its powerhouse, The View.
During the week of May 14,there were 2.13 million viewers for The Chew, a slight rise from the previous week (2.09 million), but basically flat. Last year at this time, All My Children had 2.51 million viewers, 15% more than The Chew is getting now in the 1 pm time slot.
At 2 pm, The Talk on CBS is rolling right over the lack of competition on ABC. Ratings for The Talk went up 12% in total viewers. The show drew 2.31 people. Canceled show, The Revolution, had just 1.33
million viewers, 51% fewer than One Life to Live one year earlier and a slight rise from the previous week.
As noted, The View is the all time winner with 3.60 million viewers and a big bump on Tuesday's show when President Obama was a guest (4.7 million).
Here are the soap ratings for that week:
1. Young and Restless 4.25 million viewers (-64,000 from previous week)
2. Bold & Beautiful 3.08 million (+20,000 from previous week)
3. Days of Our Lives 2.35 million (-76,000 from previous week)
4. General Hospital 2.33 million (-103,000 from previous week)
