NBC announced today that Mick Jagger will host SNL’s season finale on May 19. This will be the rock icon
and multiple Grammy-award winner’s first time as host and third appearance as
musical guest.
It was previously announced that the second to last two shows of the season would be hosted by New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning (May 5th) and former SNL cast member Will Ferrell (May 12th). The musical guests for those shows will be Rihanna and Usher, respectively.
Manning is, of course, the latest Super Bowl MVP, coming off the Giants victory in February.
Will Ferrell was last seen in the telenova comedy, Casa de Mi Padre. His next move is The Campaign due on August 10th with Zach Galifianakis.
