The 100th
episode of The Big Bang Theory topped American Idol's second episode in adults 18-49
and adults 25-54 during the FOX show's first half hour on Thursday. (In the episode, Leonard (Johnny Galecki) goes out on a date with his ex, Penny (Kaley Cuoco). Of course, CBS lost steam in the second half hour with Rob, the new Rob Schneider show, as the competition - though it didn't do so badly.
Big Bang (with 15.84 million viewers) was first in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and tied for first in adults 18-34 with FOX. The program also posted its best-ever deliveries in households, viewers, adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 against an episode of Idol.
Rob was second in households, viewers (11.41 million), adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Compared to last week's series premiere, Rob retained 88% of its households delivery, 85% each in viewers, adults 25-54 and adults 18-49.
